Does the world really need another protein bar?

Do your products contain palm oil, soy or lactose? Are they gluten-free?

All our products are free from palm oil, soy, gluten and lactose. However, the production facility where our bars are made manufacturers other products besides ours. For this reason, we can't be 100% sure whether the other recipes contain soy, and that the machines are 100% soy-free. However, the cleaning is done very thoroughly and consistently, so only the smallest amounts could be detected each time during regular analyses.

I have a nut allergy, can I still eat numove?

It all depends on which nut / shell you are allergic to. Our existing numove varieties are both based on a portion of almond butter. Our Cookie Dough variety also contains cashew nuts. If you are allergic / intolerant to one of these ingredients, unfortunately I have to disappoint you, then we advise against enjoying our protein bars. It also applies that other nuts / nuts are also processed in production, so we cannot 100% rule out that the bars are definitely free from other nuts or peanuts.

Does numove contain artificial ingredients?

When developing numove, it was very important to us to create a real alternative to conventional bars. Therefore, it was our goal to defy protein bars based on a long list of ingredients that are difficult to understand without a degree in chemistry, as well as date-based bars with a correspondingly high sugar content. We deliberately avoid any kind of additives typical of protein bars, such as glycerine and polydextrose or sweeteners and flavours. Instead of fructose, we have replenished the nutritional values of the bar with plenty of natural protein, which provides you with all the essential amino acids.

Any other special nutritional values?

The bars are a great source of fiber. They are also rich in vitamin C and magnesium and contain all the essential amino acids. With 50% less sugar than comparable products, numove is a perfect snack for in between, not just before or after exercise.

How much protein is there in numove?

One of our numove bars (45 g) contains 11-12 g protein, depending on the variety, which corresponds to 25-26% of the bar. Compared to other protein bars, the protein content is sometimes slightly lower. The main reason for this is that we only use vegan and natural ingredients - you won't find chemically concentrated protein isolate or animal whey protein in our list of ingredients - not to mention artificial sweeteners and flavors.

Why aren't dates a part of the numove ingredients list?

In the industry, dates are mostly used to sweeten the more natural protein bars instead of sweeteners. However, due to the high sugar content of the dates, we made a conscious decision not to use them. Apart from that, dates contain a lot of fructose compared to other foods. For many people, fructose cannot be sufficiently absorbed from the intestine into the body and thus reaches the large intestine, where it can cause typical symptoms such as flatulence, diarrhea and cramps.

Are numove protein bars dipped in chocolate?

Yes, the chocolate coating is a real game changer for our bars, but of course we stayed true to our principles here too: numove Brownie Crunch was therefore coated with dark chocolate made from cocoa mass, cocoa butter and coconut blossom sugar. The white tiger nut coating of numove Cookie Dough consists of cocoa butter, tiger nut flour and coconut blossom sugar. You already know both chocolates (alternatives) from our bestsellers nucao original - Almond Sea Salt or nucao white - Crunchy Nougat.

What is your packaging made out of?

Our packaging consists of home-compostable cellulose film, and a thin layer of starch and paper. It is printed with water-based organic inks.

Where should I dispose of the packaging?

The best option for the disposal of our wrappers is the home compost, where it decomposes after an average of 6 months, depending on the environmental conditions. If you don't have compost, conventional methods such as the recycling or residual waste are the best options as no harmful substances are released when our packaging is burnt!
